I checked out Gritty Jane to see her style. I saw the look you are going for on the top. I prefer the one on the bottom. I do think the lips could be a bit smaller on both drawings. I think if you make the hair a little fuller the bottom one will be better. You are still improving. Try to find or develope your own style as you learn from others.
